School 10

I visited my grandchildren's school and was really impressed at how well things seemed to go today. There did not seemed to be a lot of confusion like in the past. The children seemed to be happy to be back in school and so did the teachers. The downside to this is that some rooms were too hot and not enough lunch monitors. Hopefully, this will change in the future. I will keep my eyes open. - An alert grandmother

New International High School not ready

School opened in Paterson today and our new International High School wasn't ready for the students. Instead, they are going to Camp Vacamas for 3 days. Shame on the School Development Authority, the contractor and the NJ Department of Community Affairs for not having this wonderful new facility ready in time. And thanks to Camp Vacamas for stepping up to provide support for International's 500 students.
